Hey! Thanks for dropping by The Mom Zoo!
We are a family of 8. I have 6 amazing kids and 1 lucky husband (lol)! Stick around for tips and ideas on how we do large family living. I blog about raising my ninjas, marriage, homeschooling, organizing, mom guilt, postpartum weight, PPD, pregnancy, recipes, mom style, what we're reading, favorites, random ramblings, and whatever else pops into my exhausted mom-brain!
My name is Yu Na and I am Korean by birth, a Midwesterner by marriage, and a New Yorker at heart. I spend my days with 6 awesome ninjas who call me Mom (4 boys, and 2 girls) and 1 fine Scotsman who calls me Wife (no, really, he actually calls me "Wife" - I don't remember the last time he used my name). He's my music conservatory sweetheart and we've been together 26(!) years and milking every drop out of our starter marriage. We still act like two teenagers except now we have lots of kids, ranging in age from baby to teens and everything in-between, and a house payment. We are a bi-racial family of 8 figuring out this large family life together!
Here's a peek into my life and my not-so-little zoo. It gets a little crazy and a whole lot honest around here so grab some chocolate and start scrolling. I will post all new blogs under MANGAMom's Blog but if you're interested in a specific topic, feel free to click right to it in the categories section in the sidebar. Some of the posts include affiliate links for products that I absolutely love.
I hope you stick around to read more tales from a homeschooling housewife on the loose and her globetrotting bestie, Dr. Mom. Better yet, write in the comments and share your own zoo story. We'd love to hear from you!
