DIY BABY DRAGON EGGS
What you'll need:
Boiled eggs (cooled - they don't have to be refrigerated)
Betty Crocker's Bold Gel food dye (regular food dye works, too, but if you want bold, vivid colors, use the bold gels)
Hot tap water
Gently roll the cooled eggs on a hard flat surface to create the web-like cracks. Do not peel the eggs. Set aside.
Mix together one teaspoon of vinegar and one teaspoon of gel dye.
Add 1/2 cup of hot tap water to the gel/vinegar mixture.
Place an egg in each dye mixture.
Large Family Mom Tip: If you are making many eggs at once with lots of kids, you can use larger bowls to do multiple eggs of each color at a time. Just remember to adjust the recipe accordingly.
Let the cracked eggs sit in the dye for 2-3 hours.
Paper towel dry the eggs and then gently peel off the shell.
Rinse and then dry.
Beautiful Baby Dragon Eggs!
